We were leaving Lindsay downtown and went past this park. So, we took a U-turn to explore what looked like an old train or a railway.

Upon arrival, we found a bunch of people most of them elderly, they were seated on wooden benches under a shaded area. Others just sat themselves under the trees. Some, kids and their parents went around the train,

We walked while taking pictures of the old railway/train. No one is allowed to climb, there were signs showing this park regulation. The flowers near the railway were just starting to bloom; a young lady was watering the plants - she was very friendly, she asked if we needed the space and if she needs to move away while we were taking pictures.

Close by is a tennis court for the convenience of people who play tennis. There were no people playing at that time.

Nice park to walk around.

Located outside of downtown Lindsay this is a great spot to sit in your car and eat your lunch, or walk around.

There are two giant trains that despite the signs saying not to, you can gain access to them easily. There are no chains, and the signs... well they aren't near anywhere you can climb.

All of the trains and cars are locked, however thanks to either vandalism or lazy staff I was able to access one of the cars. They were dirty and dusty, and totally unsafe, so I bounced.

There is a small children's park nearby, there are holes all over, a pole and a walkway six feet off the ground. Needless to say, don't leave your children unattended there!

There are many covered areas for picnics, vast amounts of seating and working latrines! Perfect spot for a family picnic or company party.

There are also a footpath that runs through the wooded area.

Near the train is a Pokemon gym.

A very nice park. The trains, 2 with full size newer and older motors. The old train is the best. Cabooses too at the end of each string of trains. They had a very interesting couple of tennis courts I think with fake grass but I could be wrong. It was very short so that is why I think it is a fake grass court. Nice and clean place, lots of garbage cans. Parking easily available but the entry a bit tough on lower cars due to the steep curb and dip in the pavement. Quaint place.

The 150 symbol in the front flowerbed was beautiful! A lot of work and attention went into planning and planting

This park has tennis courts for people to play tennis on. It also has a train for kids to climb onto. Overall decent park for families to visit.

Great place to relax under the pine trees with a book , lunch or the company of that special someone. Families , church groups and organizations use the covered picnic areas for lunches , meetings and events. Play tennis or baseball or climb the trains. Toilets are available and a generous amount of land space. Go watch the kids play baseball one night. It's a hoot. Picnic tables are a bit rough. Play ground safe.
