The famous 'Dr. Livingstone, I presume?' meeting place of Stanley and Livingstone. Very good guide who explained everything. Memorial to where they met and good interior centre with lots of details. Definitely worth a visit.
The museum a is at the place where Livingstone and Stanley met under a mango tree. A guide tells you the story and afterwards there is few exponates about Livingstone and the region around Kigoma. Interesting, but the entrance fee is way too high.
How can you come to Ujiji (or Kigoma) and not see this place?
I was moved to tears to stand on the very ground where Livingstone and Stanley met for the first time!
