Really enjoyed our visit to the massive Chateau d'Ecouen. The excellent museum covers 2 floors and can take some time. Very informative. Great rooms covering several centuries. Don't miss the Galleon Automaton. Lovely setting and gardens.

We enjoyed the 20 minute walk from the station through the "foret" and the sudden appearance of the magnificent building. The daily closure from 1235 to 2 pm is annoying, given the time it takes to reach Ecouen and the mot very good restaurant attached....More

In the "Chateau d'Ecouen" is located the Musée national de la Renaissance in Ecouen, not far from Paris. It is a very big castle, and so is its content. It offers art from the 15th tot the 17th century with furnitures, walltapistry, ceramics, emails, glasswall...More
