Shalford Mill is a really stunning building and can be visited by just turning up. This 18th century mill is National Trust so is free to members, everyone else it's £3 per adult. Worth coming to visit and especially nice on a sunny evening.
The tour of the Mill was excellent, very informative and interesting. The use of water power, gearing and gravity and how historically global trade effected even the most rural of communities is very relatable
