Although many pieces are replicas the museum is well presented and organised with great displays. Regretfully it lacks some English explanations, but audio guides are available. There are well done free guided tours in Spanish and also some activities for kids like making dinosaurs with soap. I would recommend visiting it in the afternoon so after the museum closes children... More

Thanks for your opinion, approximately 80% of the pieces exposed are original, although it is true that the big skeletons are replicas. The museum has hand guides and audioguide in English to make the tour to the exhibition. Regards, More

Took my two under 3's. They both had more fun outside the museum with the range of lifelike animal statues, but still enjoyed the skeletons and displays inside. Great views from the grounds, with large themed outside play area. Looked to have a restaurant onsite, but despite being 3 hours passed opening time - it was still closed. Pros -... More

We were very sorry that the cafeteria was closed. In February is open only Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:30 to 19:00 h. In March it is open on Wednesdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Greetings, More

Who knew Spain had a Jurassic Coast? I do now, and this museum is the key reason. Excellent displays explaining the evolution of life...albeit in Spanish...plenty of large skeletons including a pair of T-Rex. Didn't really matter that they were replicas as they were up front about it and looked suitably authentic. Kept a small family group covering 3 generation... More

The location is suitable for its purpose, the beach nearby is very "jurassic", and if you follow the track you're going to find some dinosaur's paw prints on the rock. Outside the museum there are some models of dinosaurs. The inside is remarkable for its architecture, interesting explanations, poor of original remains (most of them are accurate reproduction).

There was a large group being shown around with a resident guide who spoke through a microphone and speaker - far too loud and intrusive for those of us who wanted to see the exhibitions in a peaceful manner - A joke really considering the numerous signs around asking for silence. This tour also blocked others like us who were... More

Pretty much everything is in Spanish, so good to be prepared with knowledge of dinosaurs or a translation device if you don't know the language. Well worth the visit- better than most such centers in other countries.

Despite the long queues (we had gone on a rainy day) this was well worth a visit. The buildings are in the shape of a dinosaur footprint, are vaulted wood inside and beautifully airy. The exhibits, although mostly replicas, are well explained and set out in a very logical and entertaining sequence. An audio guide is available for a small... More

Get here early in the day as the car park gets packed by midday! Had a great 2 hours on a rainy day. Used the headphones to listen to the explanations as not much of the museum has English signs. We all lived it especially our 5 year old.

Very nicely done! We all four enjoyed it, especially the kids! Scientifically well documented and lots to see in or outside of the museum. I just do not understand why the access is so lowed priced or even for free on Wednesday when the whole Asturias area could do with a lot more developments for tourists, but magnificent museum.

We loved this small museum about dinosaurs. It has been built like a circular timeline. Kids were very happy at the kids club. The gardens are beautiful and the personal was very kind.
