A most interesting and entertaining place to visit. The bird display was well presented with a variety of 'Birds of Prey', in a breathtaking hillside location offering far reaching views over the Champagne Valley and surrounding Mountains. A must to see when in the Winterton area.

There is nothing crass or commercial about this Centre. It is run by two humans passionate about the birds in their care - a humbling and poignant reminder to those of us who don't actually involve ourselves in the gritty "hands on business" of preserving our natural heritage. One is invited into a bird world of talons and thermals by... More

Really fascinating - Greg and Allison have an amazing relationship with the bird and a high level of care for rehabilitating the raptors in their care. The show was casual, but professional and I highly recommend it - just pack a hat and sunscreen as the show is outside in the sun.

This is really a truly awesome experience. If you love nature or just want your children to experience the amazing skill of birds of prey then this is for you. Be warned to take a hat and put on sunscreen as you sit on a grass embankment exposed to the elements but this only enhances the experience. There is a... More

When we arrived at Falcon Ridge we were disappointed to see these amazing raptors in cages, little did we realize what we were about to experience. These raptors are allowed to fly freely everyday. The hosts were unbelievably knowledgeable and really cared for their birds. To see a Peregrine falcon stoop from extreme heights to fetch food is a life... More

The presentation takes about an hour but you get an up close view of a number of birds of prey. The handlers are passionate about their birds and are very knowledgable. Even our two young adult children who thought it would not be their thing, came away quoting bits of information provided. There are plenty of opportunities to take great... More

Great display and education on these amazing birds in an equally amazing location. Apparently even better on a sunny day, but worth it either way! Only suggestion would be to ask parents to keep their children quieter as we sometimes couldn't hear the information. Otherwise fantastic and we'll definitely be back!

We visited Falcon Ridge Bird of Pray Centre this December during our annual holiday as a family and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service at the centre is good as they allowed us to pay via EFT as we did not have cash and they do not take credit cards. The bird handlers seem extremely passionate about their work... More
