This beach you can walk to in 5 minutes. The two best ones you need to take a car ride. The favourite of the locals and myself is the English Beach. Fairly nearby is the comfortless beach which is tiny but really pretty.

The beaches at Ascension are amazing. Very beautyfull golden soft sand surounded by cliffs. But if you swim you die. The current is extreamly strong and several people has just disapeared. There are only two beaches at Ascension where it´s reasonably safe to swim. Comfortless...More

If you ever get the chance, Go! Not many get that chance. Small island with a rich history. Turtles were migrating when we visited

This must be one of the most fantastic places on Ascension: a natural blowhole in the lava on a beach. As the waves come in, the water shoots into the air. We spent hours watching it, from all angles and from above. In Two Boats...More

You can sometimes when the big fish come in but most of the time this is not the best place to fish. There are so many other places to fish though. Off the rocks is best and many people fish off the pier head. If you are... More
