Like many places in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, and the old harbour is still a delightful place to visit, boasting some excellent bars, restaurants and excursions running out of the harbour.

The old harbour is nothing special. Some nice restaurants to sit and eat. Set high up. Local fair was on the main car park whilst we were there and to be quite honest it was a bit of an eyesore

Great Harbour. We visited as part of the boat trip to Fuerteventura. The harbour was clan and tidy, with lots of parking for coaches.

Took and walk round the harbour and shops. There is a wooden walkway that takes you out along sided the harbour. Great views out to sea and if you want you can catch boat trips. Check for the cats sleeping on the rocks.

There’s always a fisherman on the rocks over the wall just pop our head over and ask them mate, they’ll point you in the right direction:)
