About
Like many places in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, and the old harbour is still a delightful place to visit, boasting some excellent bars, restaurants and excursions running out of the harbour.

Great location, plenty of stalls to do some haggling. Variety of eateries nearby. Enjoy the view over to Fuerteventura.

Puerto Del Carmen was recommended to me by a diving company as a good place to dive for a few days that is short haul from the UK. The diving was good, but everything else about the place was pretty awful and I will not...More

The harbour has changed a lot since Iast visited 12 years ago. The boardwalk didn't exist and I loved it. Loved watching the fish and sitting on the seats provided watching the boats. The children's play area, restaurants, boiler and garden make the whole area...More

The view from the harbour never gets old. On a clear day you can see across to Fuertaventura. Lots of cats tucked away

This was our first time staying in the old town and we spent a lot of time around the harbour. It is beautiful here in the evening as the sun is setting. surrounded by plenty of great bars and eateries.

Very pretty with a great choice of good quality restaurants. Nice atmosphere, worth a wander to find hidden bars and restaurants. You can walk to Puerto Calero from here. Relatively easy walk. Excellent place to stay. It feels like a real place, not just hotels.

There’s always a fisherman on the rocks over the wall just pop our head over and ask them mate, they’ll point you in the right direction:)
