It is a little strange to see a catholic church full of people. You can go on foot and buy some souvenirs in the shops arround.

The cathedral is clean and quite. They display gigantic Christmas tree and beautiful light during festive season. I took a pedestrian bridge and discover Chanthaburi old town! What a charming neighbourhood!

Wow! There's a rather strong (and pious) Catholic following Chanthaburi. This beautiful church is so beautiful, don't you think so?

Nice to see, parking in front of church for free. Leave the car there and walk/across the bridge next to church to old town and further up to gems market on Saturday.

This place is nice for photo shot. You can easily walk through the old bridge across Chanthaburi river to old town by the river to see pace of the people here.

This cathedral is the landmark of Chanthaburi. It was erected during the Indochina period. It has a magnificient teak wood ceiling. There is a mass everyday at 7 o clock, and the cathedral will open doors around 6.30 PM.

Evidence of historical French influence. Hopefully, Siam regained quickly this part of its territory
