This is a resort island which has 31 cabs for the entire island. The port area is large enough to handle a cruise ship along with a couple Ferry Boats. From the cruise terminal one can go to downtown Mykonos either by water taxi: 2 Euros per person per direction, or via free bus rides courtesy of the Cruise line.... More

The windmills while pretty in themselves , are an area to take stunning pictures. They are impressive standing all in a row too. With so many windmills on the island don't be surprised if is very windy during your visit.

We were fortunate that our cruise ship docked in Mykonos. Which gave us more time to explore. The Windmills are an icon of the area and a must see. The views and the pictures you can take are stunning. They certainly add to the charm of Mykonos. It can be windy, they are wind mills, but it can be a... More

Windmills. Five on island just off the water. No longer in operation, but interesting to see. You can look inside one of them to see how they operate.

The windmills are very photogenic. The views from there are lovely, you have a great vantage point from which to see Little Venice. It can be incredibly windy there and there aren't guard rails so keep an eye out for your tiny ones.

It is a shame the windmills are falling in too dis-repair as they are such a great tourist attraction in Mykonos

Must-see tourist spot while in Mykonos. You really just come to take that standard pic of Mykonos that you see on postcards or magnets. So we did the same. It's pretty close to the main area of Mykonos so you don't have to trek far to make it here. There are quite a few tourists though so it's hard to... More

You can't visit Mykonos, without having seen the legendary windmills, facing the majectic blue see. Here again, numerous touristrs will be with you....but if you're an early bird, you will greatly appreciate the place in quiet conditions.
