Very much enjoyed wandering around within the church. They had on display a very informative exhibit of St. Theresa. At night it is wonderfully illuminated.

What sets this cathedral apart from others? Beautiful stained glass windows including the Chevat stained glass window (dates to between 1280 and 1290), the Thomas James Mausoleum 1507 (bishop of Dol from 482 to 1504) and a16th-century wooden sculpture of Christ. Lots of free parking...More

Very stunning cathedral in the centre of the town. Free parking all the way round the cathedral. Once inside it’s very impressive with stunning stained glass windows.

This is an interesting cathederal to visit with a visitor centre across the street. The town has some tourist notice boards in both english and french, which we found useful.

Dol de Bretagne is a lovely town with this Cathedral at its heart. The connection with the nearby menhir is interesting. The only thing I did not find out is the story with the tower.

We drove by and remembered from a guide book that the cathedral was a top 10 sightseeing so we decided to stop and have a look. The cathedral was well preserved and is still in use for daily prayers and various worshippers. It felt real...More
