Took this cruise trip on a cold calm Saturday morning in January and it was great value for money. David and John Jo were very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. The cruise travelled into different sections of the lake explaining the history and surroundings. There were drinks available on board and being able to get a cup of tea was wonderful... More

Knowledgeable captain, friendly family business, lovely view of the castle and lake. The thing I loved the most is the obvious passion and love the captain has for the experience. He has been doing this since his childhood, so you can imagine how many times he has said his speal, but he still has wonderment and excitement. Highly recommended!

This was truly a voyage of discovery run by the incredibly personable brothers David and Patrick Ludlum. It's a five minute walk from Ashford Castle's entrance just across the bridge and you can't miss the lovely boat, The Isle of Innisfree. One may sit upstairs in open air and wind or downstairs inside. I experienced both. I'd committed to taking... More

We were looking for something fun to do for a day, and I'm so glad we went with Corrib Cruises. The day was raining, so our tours were a little wet, but David was a fantastic tour guide. Entertaining and fun.

Corrib Cruises is a small family owned company. Both David and Patrick, who own the company, were an absolute pleasure to meet and converse with. I estimate that the boat would hold no more than 30 people. During our stay at Ashford Castle they offered two cruise options; a one hour trip on the lake and a trip to an... More

It was a beautiful sunny day and a delightful cruise. The trip was informative with a pleasant crew to offer snacks, drinks and plenty of local inform. Although we didn't have children with us, a family was seated near us and the children also enjoyed the beautiful lake cruise.

We went out on the 11:00 cruise and fortunately had a beautiful sunny day. The cruise is an hour long and is very relaxing. Both David and Patrick were our hosts and tour operators. The two of them really know their stuff concerning the lake, Ashford Castle and the surrounding area. Their family has been involved in this business for... More

This was such a cool experience! First off the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable of the area! The boat ride was very fun a little chilly so bring a jacket. Once you get to the island you are jetted back over a thousand years and get to walk thru where St Patrick himself first started in Ireland!

A great diversion from looking at old things. We did have a perfect weather day. We did the one hour boat ride at 11:00 and it was perfect. Great photographs of Ashford Castle and the grounds surrounding it are available. Staff very accommodating, history interesting and Celtic music for cruising all made for a fun time!
