The two Luskin brothers do a fabulous job of giving this tour on Lough Corrib. Imagine to be able to take a cruise and enjoy the fresh outdoors in December. They are very knowledgeable and make the one hour tour very interesting. Be sure to buy the book they've written with historical accounts of the lake. It leaves from Ashford... More

While at Ashford Castle we took this one hour boat tour of the area. The crew was a family affair and all lovely. Patrick who's' family has been in the area for generations was a wealth of information of the area. I would recommend this little trip . They have available beverages. Can be chilly so bundle up and bring... More

We arrived in Cong harbour to pick up our cruise. Our Captain David welcomed us on board and provided a witty commentary for most of our journey. We stopped of at Inchagoill Island and we had a history of this Island. It transported you back in time in our history. We experienced spectacular views of Ashford Castle and were given... More

Great views of Lough Corrib, Ashford Castle & Ashford Estate. Crew were all lovely, so friendly, very helpful, local & full of stories & banter. Basic tea, coffee, & drinks available on board. Throughly enjoyed the cruise.

We went on a chartered tour whilst on a Newmarket Holiday. The skipper David gave us a runniing commentry explaining the local waters and how the tides moved the water around down to Galway Bay. He also explained the history of the Guinness family as well as the lovely Ashford Castle Hotel in Cong. The scenery was fantastic and the... More

Great day spent with large group. Took the cruise from Cong pier to inchagoill island. Beautiful trip and scenery on a clear sunny day, idyllic. Short stop on the island with guided tour. Overall took two hours. €15 per person for cruise and tour good value. Highly recommended.

Walked through the Castle grounds from Cong Village to join the boat cruise around Lough Corrrib. A very relaxing way to see all there is to see around the Lough. Other friends of ours had recommended the tour because they stopped at Inchagoill however that stop is not an option in May, but still enjoyed the trip regardless. David, the... More
