At the visitor centre in Alberese (one of the entrances) you can buy a ticket (€10) to get to the park by bus. You will also get a map with and descriptions of hikes. The bus takes you to the start of several hikes (10 min drive). We did A1 and A3, which were good to combine. Started with A1,... More

We went to the beach part on the northern side. Entrance is very sophisticated with video cameras which recognise your number plate. Adequate parking and a never ending beach with these peculiar shade spots made out of drift wood. The further you walk, the less clothing the people have on. Great area to enjoy the tranquillity of the ocean. You... More

From the tourist information you buy a ticket for the bus, 10 euro. It goes every hour and brings you in 10 to 15 mins in the park. Here you have a few opportunities to walk. We chose to do a combination of A2 and A3. This was really nice, most of the walk was in the forrest with plenty... More

One of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Just you have to be quite early during the high saison coz there is an restricted entry.

Uishi, thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the Maremma Park, with its nature and its beaches. The entrance has a limited number, to facilitate mobility by bicycle and by bus, because we are in a natural park and we want to reduce cars use. We hope you come back as soon as possible. All our best! More

Bike or hike through the park's pine trees, go birdwatching, forget your Iphone, and enjoy beautiful beaches and warm water for swimming

A beautiful and protected area of Tuscany with mountains and coastline, filled with wildlife including many deer and wild boars as well as Wolves so the locals told me. I spent a couple of days walking along the miles of almost empty and driftwood filled beach and later towards sunset went riding into the park on a magnificent Maremanna horse... More

Filled with rivers and streams, this region is a haven for nature lovers. One can canoe on the river or walk through the beauty, or take a bicycle ride on a great path.

If the Tuscany we know is famous for amazing landscapes.., La Maremma will give the last touch with its wilderness and history. A green area rich of wild fauna and the beautiful "Vacche Maremmane". The wild beach and its dunes are not to be missed!

What a glorious park. My husband and I only had time to do a couple trails so we only saw a small piece of the park. A restaurant owner in Grosseto city showed us his pictures from Nov 2014 and there was so much to see including fox and boar that came up close, personal, and friendly. We hope we... More

As we didn't have much time, we decided to drive to the entrance by the Marina di Alberese instead of booking a visit with a guide, and this is an area I would definitely recommend! You can enjoy both the woods (we saw a couple of very cute foxes by the picinic area) and the sea. The beach is absolutely... More
