The interior of this church is covered with hand painted Deruta tiles depicting the prayers and wishes of the local inhabitants through the ages. I'm told that after the tiles were hung, their prayers were answered!

Beautiful grounds and church with amazing collection of over 600 tiles describing wishes and sorrow over personal tragedies.
This is a unique church with interesting memories of the residents of this area. Worth going to visit especially if you have an interest in ceramics.
