Very interesting chateau located in the middle of the vinyards of Aigle. Good visit for the history and the views. Local wines and wine tasting are available nearby. Good for an hour or two and a nice walk in a quaint section of the town.

If you are in Aigle worth a look around outside and take photos as lovely setting. Inside was closed. But I note the other reviews.

Quite an extensive collection covering wine making and marketing. Particularly interesting is the extensive and well presented collection of wine labels. The chateau itself has been refurbished, but is still fairly basic in places, but the wine museum is the star of the show. Worth...More

We really enjoyed visiting Aigle and it's castle. The castle itself wasn't exceptional but the seamless integration of the wine museum was excellent! It made a lovely day trip to the castle and then surrounding vineyards! We had visited the Chateau de Chillon the day...More
