Very interesting chateau located in the middle of the vinyards of Aigle. Good visit for the history and the views. Local wines and wine tasting are available nearby. Good for an hour or two and a nice walk in a quaint section of the town.

If you are in Aigle worth a look around outside and take photos as lovely setting. Inside was closed. But I note the other reviews.

We took the small train from aigle and got down after couple of stops and walked back all the way to aigle castle. Its quite a scenic route. We enjoyed the view and walk back to the castle. Nice wine museum.

We really enjoyed visiting Aigle and it's castle. The castle itself wasn't exceptional but the seamless integration of the wine museum was excellent! It made a lovely day trip to the castle and then surrounding vineyards! We had visited the Chateau de Chillon the day...More

We visited this castle with the whole family aged 2 to 66. For the old ones it was a bit of challenge to climb on the stairs but still manageable. The little one was also curious to explore the castle. There is no much content...More
