We were the only visitors in this little museum. The ceramic pieces were nice and the house beautiful. Highly recommend.

Nice things on show but not very much to be a collection. Possibility to buy both first and second range. So do go and have a look but don’t expect to stay more than one hour and not even that.

What was once a home is now three floors of ceramics with a focus on portuguese work. Though the building and grounds could use some updates and maintenance the exhibits give a good representation of two centuries of portuguese ceramics. Some very interesting pieces well displayed but lacking translations in the written descriptions. If ceramics is your thing then this is well worth a visit.

We spent the day in Caldas da Rainha and really enjoyed our visit to this museum. The ceramics are amazing, on three floors of a beautiful old building. The surrounding grounds are also very nice. Highly recommend if you love old buildings.
