This is a beautiful place and the second time I’ve been. Enjoyed the boat trip, the guided tour around gardens and house. The guide who did English language tour was great, informative and well spoken. However, at one spot in the garden I was suddenly...More

Had tried to visit the island on a previous trip but cancelled due thunderstorms. So next time back we made a point of visiting. It is just a lovely setting which is clearly loved by the family who are very hands on in running tours...More

Based on all the rave reviews, I decided to splash out for one visit and pay the 38 euros each for myself and my two teens to visit the island. I was surprised how many people were on the boats leaving from Sirmione and once...More

This was a really nice day out - we took the boat from Sirmione, which gave us about 30 minutes each way to see the towns of Lake Garda from the water, as well as the scenery of the mountains etc. The tour itself was...More

Very nice trip to amazing island. There are more companies offering the trip for similar price around 31EUR from the near harbours. A bit overpriced but great trip. Very nice guide in English, amazing views...can reccommend.

Really pretty property but over priced and badly managed. We paid over 70 euros for a couple and they over booked for the trip so there was no space for my husband and I to sit on the boat which made for a VERY uncomfortable...More

Isola del Garda, a private island owned and inhabited by the Borghese and Cavazza families, opens for private tours several times a week. It is a short boat ride from the mainland and is only about a half-mile long by a quarter-mile wide. The house...More

The island although open to tourists is still privately owned so I should imagine that you have to take the official taxi boat over. Best check with your tour guide or hotel to be sure
