It was a cold chilly day when we went here but still we were able to get great pictures. There was a fee entering the mangroves but it's cheap and it's okay since it was supposed to be for the maintenance of the place. This one is just for a short stop.

This place is nice to see and take pictures... You can also sit at the restaurant in the middle of the ocean. Nice concept, but most people seem to just walk through and don't really stay much longer.

Coming here was a great experience for me since i love nature of all forms. I love the gigantic mangroves with its roots protruding from beneath the wooden bridge. I like the feel of its indigenous wooden materials used as elevated pathways going to the open sea with a bar/coffee shop at the end. I love the tree-houses. The place... More

Not much to see here but there's a bunch of picturesque huts, plenty of mangrove trees, and a great view of the sea. The place is very peaceful and the big bamboo stilt out on the water is a great place to take a breather. This and the pier where they hold the carnivals should be the best areas to... More

You can sleep in a treehouse in the mangrove or have a meal/drink on a bungalow on stilts over the sea. Beautiful clear water at high tide.

Nice view!!! But it is only a short walk. We enjoyed seeing mangroves and to get information on that. It's right beside the main road so it worth the stop!

This is a beautiful place for sightseeing. The place is made of a complex of stilt pathways, with Nipa Huts where I think you could stay for a fee. This is a nice place to cap off your Siquijor tour, going in the late afternoon. The view is very serene, you can definitely have the view of the sea here.... More

For me, Guiwanon is a nice place to hold a live-in seminar or training. It is also a nice place to stay overnight and experience the rustic life. I really appreciate the efforts of the local community to conserve the coastal area by planting mangroves. I hope many people can visit Guiwanon and replicate this project elsewhere.

You will have to walk along wooden bridges and pass by huts and mangroves. The place will bring out the photographer in you. It has this crystal clear pond but I don’t think they let people swim there.
