This cascades are one of the most amazing places to visit in the whole country. Their blue color is unique and you can find any type of food and souvenirs in the area. Is a MUST visit in Mexico.

I did not expect much when I walked up the steps to the waterfalls. Except for the street stalls and kids kept bugging me to purchase stuff, the area was rather empty and I was told I was very lucky even in such low season. Starting from April, tourists and locals will occupy the entire walkway and it will be... More

It is worth the trip to see the falls as, provided the water is plentiful, really beautiful with an incredible colour to them. They are however spoilt by the fact that almost the entire length has stalls only a pathway width away, all selling the same touristy items with the vendors trying to attract your attention. To be fair a... More

We ate here tonight on the recommendation of a local and loved it. Food fresh, interesting and delicious. I would enthusiastically recomend this to anyone visiting Quepos.

Great outdoor trip to waterfalls, just 2 hour drive from Palengue. Road thru mountains is under serious repair so that adds to the adventure. Indigenous mountain people use all kinds of tricks to make ignorant tourists to stop. Then they can sell their stuff. Waterfall makes nice swim.

We were here longer than expected as our minibus had collided with a coach but thats another story. We went on the mid afternoon tour leaving Palenque at 12 which I think was probably a good move as this is a very popular attraction with loads of coach parties, but most had left by the time we arrived. A city... More

This place was a total surprise. Spectacular swimming-pool blue natural pools and waterfalls in the heart of the humid jungle, with the option to swim to escape the heat! We only had about an hour there as part of a bus tour, but I recommend staying longer if you can. It was very hot when we went, but if you... More

The most upsetting experience we have ever had in four years of living in Mexico took place two weeks ago in Agua Azul. We wanted to see the water falland came with a rental car. On the way in, we were stopped by a group of people who had strung a cord with a red flag across the road. All... More

The 3 hours' drive one way became 5 hors and we were complaining..blah blah blah. But once you get there, everything was ok. The blue color of the water and the Agua Azul has kept the promise of 'being Blue' :) event hough there was not much water as it would be in the raining season. The roads to the... More
