We were there at the end of high season, but this building was closed. We looked in the windows and most if not art work was gone. This was during business hours during the week when published time indicated it would be open. Sadly it was not.

March 19th, 2016, Drove to Boddentown to visit this shop. Driveways blocked, and store closed. We inquired about the closure with the barbershop owner adjacent to the property. He stated this business was closed, and that there was an art shop in Westbay next to the Camana Bay shopping area.

My husband and I like to purchase local art whenever we are away, and we found many unique pieces here. Last year, we bought a painting of Smith's Cove by a local art teacher and a wood carved turtle by a local man. This year, we bought another beautiful painting and wood piece. We love supporting local business, and highly... More

We did not purchase any art but enjoyed browsing the variety of photos, prints, and paintings. Some local crafts available as well. Prices seem reasonable. Nicer than the shop further around the East End.

From the looks of the outside, I expected a larger retail space. But that's not a negative, as what space there was, was filled with good-to-really-good local paintings. I was there to look, prepared to buy if I found the perfect thing. I didn't, but I did enjoy looking. When we arrived, we were the only customers and the owners(?)... More

I loved the sting ray paintings, especially after swimming with the creatures. This is my favorite shop for art on Grand Cayman.

We bought a small art print here, but mostly enjoyed looking at all of the artwork while we were there.

If you are looking for native Caymanian arts and crafts for gifts or souveniers, the Boddentown Art Shop is the place to go. It is located in what appears like a cheerful yellow house just past the Pirate's Cave. There's plenty of parking in back. Inside you will find photographs, paintings, baskets, toys, bags, gifts for babies, jewelry, and much... More
