Great beach with shallow warm water which our young children loved and we felt they were very safe. There is just a beach and a couple of Tavernas so it was pretty quiet when we were there. It can be a mission to get to and from without a car although a taxi from Skala was not too expensive.

On an beautiful Island of mostly rocky, pebbly beaches, this beach was a life saver. Crystal clear waters, perfect sand and best of all, it was quiet. The water is mill pond calm (unless the wind picks up) and after wading 200 yards out is still waist deep. Perfect for children. Good beach facilities too. If you're in Kefalonia on... More

We love this beach and visit it at least once on every visit to Kefalonia. It's very clean and very safe for children and for swimmers. the beach is big enough that it's possible to get a reasonable distance away from other people if that is your desire. We always spend some of our time there walking along th waters... More

We loved it here, you could walk out for quite a way and it was really shallow. Take a snorkel as lots of little fish swimming about. A lovely beach bar with food there. I had a gorgeous burger, it was massive. Good food.
