Starts off with a walk through the marsh - not my type of thing. Didn't see any birds or wildlife that were mentioned on the boards. Then you go through a bit of steep rocky path with roots section. This part was a bit challenging. There are stairs on a couple of spots. But after that part is when you'd start seeing great views of the ocean and rocks that lead down to the sea. This part is awesome. Highly recommend to do the whole loop as the best part is where you see the sea at the top of the loop. It's said an easy half hour hike each way but it took us almost 45-50 mins walking fast on the way back. Would rate the hike as low moderate not easy for sure. Will attach pics to the amazing views at the loop.

We stopped here on a trip on the Sunshine Coast. The parking was fine and the walks are fairly short and relatively easy; a little scrambling over some rocks and tree roots might be required to access the shore at some places. Great views and pretty quiet

Great family-friendly walk to a beautiful cove, can't wait to return when the weather is a bit better and go for a swim.

You could spend a whole day here! Definitely leans towards a medium hike in terms of difficulty.
Suggest to try to get here in the morning as it gets busy in the afternoon! Lots of different trails to take.
Forewarning that there are no washrooms on the trail and only at the entrance.

A peaceful and beautiful hike through a wetland to a picturesque cove. We must have spent 2 hours at least walking, watching and taking photos of the area. Topped too with fabulous and informative signage.

We spent about three hours wandering around, taking pictures and reading the nature walk sign boards. Had a great relaxing time of it and enjoyed seeing this part of west coast up close and personalized. Next time, we would take bathing suits, lunch, and some cold drinks to stretch it out and make a full day out of it. Recommended: running shoes, not flip flops!

Great hike that is about 4kms return. Nice boardwalk to start then you are walking on natural terrain. Some up hill parts with Wooden stairs and rocks but very easily Navigated and not hard at all. Views are spectacular. Interpretive signs throughout so you can learn about the wildlife and foliage. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice walk with beautiful scenery.
Not too busy during the week.
Good walking shoes recommended, as it leads via some rocky terrain.

This easy walk/hike is so beautiful. We went the day after a huge downpour and much of the path was very muddy or even completely submerged in water, but it wasn’t difficult to go around. The views at the end offer gorgeous coastal landscapes and are definitely a must see!

Planning to travel to the area on a weekday in mid-July, and wanted to camp there. But there are only 5 first come first served sites. How often are these full up? It'll be kind of a mess to come down there to camp with two kids and have to leave and find another place to stay.
