Went up the tower and paid tourist prices which were a little more than local Thai admission prices. Good view of Mukdahan, and rang the bells. Not a lot of information able to be read in English, but interesting enough. Didn’t stay for that long...More

Short walk from city centre, not open every day, not the most stimulating of views or things to see. Sorry!

The tower is located just outside of town, so aside from Mekong and Laos, the scenery is meh. I went around 3pm. 50 baht for foreigner. I suggest going a 30-60 minutes before sundown, as the Laos scenery gets a golden light. Sunset might be...More

A number of historical and ethnically diverse displays inside. High enough for views to Savanakhet. Not the best maintained and could offer more to the visitor.

It's a nice place to visit. Each floor displays many items from local and nearby areas. A nice view from the top floor.

There is an elevator in the tower which brings you to the top. There you have a beautiful view around the area. There is also a small museum inside, which shows the old time clothes and lifestile.

I have been here a few times. Usually when I bring someone new to the area. It's a good attraction even on a rainy day and has some interesting information on the local people in the not so distant past.
