Many shops are closed, there's only a few pieces of replicas that fail to give any proper experience. Having been to Italy, I was hoping that there would be something here that would help me reminisce my past trip. Just a colosseum and a statue with some Italian style architecture don't seem to be sufficient to provide a fulfilling experience.

I made the mistake of visiting the Wharf during the day when all the restaurants and shops are closed. Besides having shops, it has some historical significance, however, most of which I did not find interesting. Trying to hail a cab after visiting is even more of a challenge because the Wharf is next to a highway. Bottom Line: Do... More

Pictures tell a lot of the place where you travel. Fisherman's wharf is one of the many destinations in Macau where you can challenge yourself of your photo-shoot skills. With a replica of the ruins of Rome and the Greek ampitheater in the backgound. Many locals come here for local filming and photo opportunities. Take a walk along the harbour... More

Actually a nice place for fresh air and sea view (though Macau seems to be also facing air pollution like many other parts of China as sky is never a nice blue even on a clear day). Place is quite big but business is poor so not all shops opened. Quite a variety of restaurants.

This was very famous theme park before but since now already have fabulous casinos and hotels this place almost forgotten. Although it's still open to public it is not as lively as before, nowadays only few restuarant and branded shoppes is here. But for me this place is nice because there is replica of collesium like in Rome and many... More

Just another simple theme park attraction filled with shops, cafes, plenty of eateries, Chinese restaurants, hotels, a mini-style casino, convention and exhibition facilities as well as replica of Colosseum in Rome. What's more interesting I like the place as there are many Portuguese- style buildings painted in brightly vibrant colors which enhanced the location. As well as, the large canopy... More

A white elephant project gone wrong from the pre-Financial crisis period of 2007-2008, Fisherman's Wharf (FW) never lived up to its billing as Macau grew and developed elsewhere, mostly around the Cotai Strip on other areas of the city. In the past couple of years, a Redevelopment Plan has begun in effort to tear down some of the development mistakes... More
