About
The indoor shopping area is punctuated by oversized chandeliers and contemporary art installations. Apart from a stable of high-end brands, the mall is also home to a Pierre Herme bakery.

Macau is not lacking in luxurious resorts and this is not the most outstanding place. City of Dreams is a huge place, but most of the shops are dead with no patrons. Even the casino is not vibrant. Once you walk around, sales reps and loan sharks flock and try to extract money from you. The so-called artworks are not impressive at all. Lighting is excessive. As the water show is closed due to COVID, this may not be the best time to visit.

…as there seems to be no ‘theme’ (like with the shops at the Venetian, Parisian, Studio City, etc.) or unifying aesthetic (like at the Galaxy resort and Grand Lisboa Palace), so it’s just a series of shops. Worth going to see some of the hotel lobbies, especially the Morpheus hotel but really just a collection of shops.

Whenever we are in Macau we always visit the City of Dreams. It is the place where you can watch the House of Dancing Water show as well as the Dragon's Treasure. The City of Dreams is a huge place with lots of high end shops, casino, hotels that includes Crown Towers, Hard Rock Hotel & Grand Hyatt Macau. It is very accessible from the Venetian or if you are coming from Sands Cotai Central. It also offers shuttles to different areas of macau. Currently some parts are under construction. Can't wait to see what will be the next new offerings of the place.

Its was ladies night Jan 8, when my husband and girlfriends went to Cubic to have some fun. As usual, when Wednesday night, theres free drinks for ladies and the guys need to pay 200 for entrance fee. To make the long story short, I admit that my husband was having a zip with my drink too. (Its free anyway & its just almost taste like no alcohol at all) around 3am (Jan 9) when were about to go home, we were very surprised when suddenly my husband has been surrounded by around 5 security personnels as if my husband was a criminal, they told my husband in a very very rude manner especially the Filipino big guy who loves to shout that hes not allowed to drink with my glass, and the manager asked them to talk to my husband. Ok its fine!!! I dont understand why the manager call the attention of the security first instead of politely going to our table and should have talk to us first and if we need to pay just for a little zip with my glass, we can pay anyway if thats what they want, we dont want any trouble at all, were not even got drunk, we went there to unwind and enjoy not to experience this kind of thing. They dont have to touch my husband and shout to us. I wanted to pay to whatever they post on the bill but when I gave the money to the manager he didnt accept it anymore. I dont understand why they did that to us. In the first place my husband was a paying guest, he cannot go inside without paying anything, they should have thought about that. They should know proper customer service! I would like to appeal to the management of Cubic Club of City of Dreams to review the cctv between 2:30-4am of Jan 9, so they will know the real story, that they hiring very very rude security staffs & managers! I hope they can do something about this, so it will not happen to other customers in the future! Seriously, they need intensive trainings!!! They ruin our night and we were very very disapointed with their extremely rude acts!

This is a huge collection of hotels, eateries, high end boutiques and entertainment. There are numerous sculptures and some interactive displays but one thing we did not like was that the only seating was in the restaurants themselves which made it difficult to kill a few hours.

It is possible that after visiting the huge Venetian and Galaxy facilities, that you might be a bit disappointed with the City of Dreams (COD) complex as it is smaller, has fewer shops and there is not quite as much to see and do here. However, its still a decent place to visit and does host one of the very finest shows in Asia called the House of Dancing Water (HoDW).

What is good about the City of Dreams is that it offers free shuttle service to the border, ferry terminals, airport, Venetian, Galaxy and the very interesting Taipa Village as well. There are several hotels which you can stay at including the Grand Hyatt, Crown Towers and Hard Rock Hotel. There is a child play zone, called Kid's City, an interesting lobby attraction called Vquarium, which shows virtual fish and occasional mermaids and a fun attraction called the Dragon Treasure Show (MOP50 per adult, MOP25 per child), for the 15 minute show.

There is a downstairs casino that is much smaller than others found on the Cotai Strip and a tiny but nice second floor - Hard Rock Casino. However, the real star for City of Dreams is the fantastic House of Dancing Water show, which is reason enough to visit the City of Dreams facilities.

Overall, while decent, the City of Dreams is a smaller scale complex compared to the Venetian, Galaxy and soon to be open Sands Cotai Central. If you understand this and your expectations are realistic, you can enjoy the City of Dreams. If you are aiming for more grandeur and scale, it might be best to go to the Venetian, Galaxy (and soon to open Sands Cotai Central in the future) instead.

A must to see. City of Dreams, Macau has branded boutiques, hotels and restaurants not only casino. With good ambiance to take pictures. I suggest for tourist to go at night to see the place with lights. Nice place to stroll.

Dragon's Treasure is the current show at the Bubble Dome theatre, cost MOP50 (approx $7 AUS) and runs for about 15mins. Enjoyed the show so much first time, went back 2 hrs later to watch again. Best time to go seems to be late afternoon, evening. Shows run all through the day.
When you walk into theatre, can stand anywhere, with railings to lean against so you can look above as the entire screen is 360 degrees.
I tried to video some of the show, but so much going on all around you, can't get it all in.
Visually, the show is so impressive, checked out how it was done on http://www.falconstreehouse.com/videos/.
