Like St Paul's down the hill this place offers a peek into the Portugese history of Macau, and is a great vantage point to see the old parts of Macau mixed with the new. The cannons, stonework and structure is amazing. The day we were...More

The fortress is just near Ruins of St Paul's, and you can take the escalator up to see great views of Macau city from above.

Use the elevator if you have weak feet. Viewing the city from top of the fort. Quite challenging if using stairs to top. Lots of tourist here due to proximity to Ruins of St. Paul

Beautiful gardens in the middle of Macau, about 5 mn walk from San Francisco church and away from the bustle of the town. You will have a 360 view of Macau and the Chinese towns beyond, as well as of the harbour and the casinos....More

I went up the fort wanting to see more than I saw. Cannons sitting about and nothing else. It wasn't really special in any way. However, it still had good view but still, don't go unless you have plenty of time.

An old Portuguese fort, but held intact by the new authorities. The views form every angle are fantastic: Taipa and Coloane to the south and mainland China to the North. Lovely gardens and even a museum to see for free
