I really enjoyed the ascent. The park and its surroundings are excellent while the statue, lookout and gazebos with seating at the top of the hill are very attractive and well worth the effort required to get up there.

A fantastic place, with a really nice Church and view to Taipa and Macau. One of the landmarks of Macau. It's a place of mandatory visit special to get away of all the Chinese that infest the downtown.

Walking up the hill in the heat of a summers days is perhaps not best time to go, but even without the church the view was worth the effort. At time of my visit a group of nuns were singing inside which was lovely.

Perched atop a small hill with a panoramic view of nam van lake. We could also see the Macau tower. However the opening hours of the church was quite late on that day of visit, at almost 1130am.

The place is not big and there's a bit of uphill walk. But it gives you a good panorama view of Macau and the harbour. We couldn't get into the church but the surrounding area is quite photogenic. Reminds you of the history of Macau...More
