Do you luv or at least appreciate blind shots??

Then this is the place for you! Fine shape with smooth running greens & frequent beverage cart runs. We had planned to walk BUT the 38 Humidex convinced us to ride. Good thing as it was a slow day & we needed a place to sit.
We'll return

Cart Advised

This course offers many altering elevations, some that a card is advised for, if you do not like a steep incline to walk. The service has always been as good as it gets. The course is a good mixture of challenging holes with many greens that will test your skills.
The rates are fair for such a course. Always a good round of golf.

Good course - in excellent condition
Sep. 2018 • Couples
We played the course yesterday in cool, breezy conditions. We were playing behind a corporate shotgun event so were concerned that play would be slow - we didn't need to worry - we were done in 3 hours, 40 minutes.

The tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent condition, which is commendable given the wide range of weather they have had this summer (frost in June, hot/dry the rest of the summer).

There are a few blind tee shots where you cannot see the green, but it was not hard to figure out to aim as the 200 and 150 yard markers were always visible. There are 5 tee blocks making it easy to possible to match the length to your skill level. However, it is not an easy course so would not recommend it for beginners, but it is fine for intermediate through advanced golfers. Some holes have woods along the sides, but generally you can get away with spraying your tee shots a little.

The ranger provided lots of tips on how to play the course.

It has many elevation changes which make for some interesting views and a variety of shots.

Slow play would not return
Sep. 2018 • Couples
Played today. 5.5 hours to play. Ridiculous. Marshall driving around didn’t seem to address the issue. Price paid for a couple was $242.00. Paying that kind of money you don’t expect to be waiting on every hole Not acceptable. Told the pro shop and they didn’t seem to care. Will not return to many other places to play that are faster and priced better

My wife and I played Andersons Creek and walked it on a day which was, to put it mildly, a bit on the warm side. We're Aussies so the heat didn't bother us as much as it would the locals but the staff were concerned enough about us (we're on either side of 70) that they checked up on us every couple of holes. Really impressed us with their concern. The course was in terrific shape and as an aging 10 handicapper I played the back tees. Mostly they were pretty fair but the carries on 9 and 15 (close to 200 yards on each off the back tee) were probably a bit long on a course which is just under 6600 yards, not long by today's standards. (In fact, when I mentioned the carries on these two holes, one of the marshalls good-naturedly implied I should start acting my age and play the normal tees! He's probably right!) There is a good mix of long and short par 4s and 3s plus the same with the par 5s. To me a mix like this is the sign of a well designed track. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced considering the standard of the course.

Harder than is should be

Don't get me wrong, this is a very good golf course that has many challenging holes, but this last round, the greens were in rippled conditions and the pin placements were as challenging as they could be. The course is long with many elevation changes and plays tough enough without the greens adding to it.
The staff are very friendly and the club house is well planned out. A tough but good golf experience.

Great challenge
Sep. 2017 • Couples
The course is well laid out. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. There are a few hidden challenges, which involve crossing the creek, but in general the course is pretty straightforward. Some of the par 5's are a little long but greens are usually reachable. I think of this as a cart "only" course. We enjoyed the complimentary hot muscles after the round. However, you need to buy a beverage to qualify. It was worth it.

A good golf course with some challenges
Jun. 2017 • Couples
It was a beautiful day for golf. A breeze that helps cool the temperature but not too much. All golf carts have GPS onboard. A driving range is available but irons only because it's not very deep. The practice green is a little small (only 3 holes) but lots of undulations. The only thing that could be better is the quality of the sand in the bunkers. Rocky in places and packed down hard. The pace of play is good and a few holes have a creek that you need to cross making club selection a challenge. The Hub is their 19th hole. It serves many variety of drinks and offers free steamed mussels with the purchase of a beverage! We had a couple of pizzas before our game. These were very good and made with nann bread. They also have a beverage cart that comes by. The rain that was in the forecast came only after we finished but there was a lovely rainbow that we could see as we were heading towards the 18th green. Well worth a visit and very reasonably priced.
