We didn't see turtles, but we did enjoy the snorkeling. Nice smaller beach. Good reefs to explore. As mentioned by others, for a secret beach, it can get busy with a fair number of people. Also recommend it as a quick stop beach if you...More

Nice palm fringed beach with soft yellow sand, limited parking. On the S side you can swim 500m out to Pointe Ferry - long fingers of reef project 80+m out into the bay, visibility often very good at 20+ m, green turtles can be found...More

Many people on the island told us that this was the place to go for a swim and snorkel. They also said it was a little hard to find, but worth the effort. Other online reviews called it the best secret beach on the island....More

Not too crowded early in the day, but lots of people started coming around 4pm. The surf is slightly rougher than neighboring beaches, but once past the break the water is calm and perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or floating. This is one of my favorite...More

A delightful beach. Calm, clear and excellent snorkeling along both sides of this picturesque crescent beach. Just a short ride from Deshaies (which is a great little town with some amazing restaurants!). Checkout Petit Anse and La Perle as well.

We really liked this beach. It should come as no surprise I guess, but it is bigger than Pettie Anse which is just about one kilometer south, and smaller than Grande Anse, which is on the other side of Deshaies, to the North. We had...More

Nice beach, but the waves were a bit rough when we were there, so it wasn't as child friendly as I was expecting.

I recommend this beach for several reasons, easy to find, rather picturesque as it is tucked away from the road in the lower level so it surrounded by the mountain, it was not as crowded on a weekend as some other beaches that we tried...More

We visited Plage Leroux on a drive South from Deshaies to Pointe Noir. It is quite a short distance past the town of Ferry and not easily visible from the road, but we found it easily enough. The sand quality was excellent but snorkelling did...More

That answer was so detailed there is little to add. I can reassure you that once you are in Guadeloupe and have a local map, (available free at the airport & many other tourist spots including hotels) you'll be able to see... More
