My Wife and family stayed at the Melia Cayo Guillermo hotel which has the Green Moray Dive Center as part of the campus in the mangroves close to the beach. The center is run by an experienced and friendly team who all get involved in guiding dives and instruction (so don't be surprised if the place seems deserted!). There are... More

Hidden down a sandy beach path through the mangroves is the Green Morray Dive Centre. A building not easy to find for those not staying at the Meliá Hotel. From the beach, the only indication that it is even there is a diving cylinder attached to a wooden arch, and the occasional cohort of returning divers. On arrival the man... More

We had fantastic, experienced dive instructors who did an incredible job. We were able to do two dives and I had the time of my life.

Filthy and stinky bathrooms with no lights and no water. Security fail with no boat waiting at the surface; you have to wait for the boat to come and get you and the divemaster let you dive alone. They have no drinkable water to give you neither food. Avoid

One of the best diving sites in all of the Caribbean. Great reef with plenty of tropical fish, the odd eagle ray, plenty of nurse shark, eels, and large fish. Ask for Pablo, the head dive instructor. He is great, speaks OK English. His team is professional, courteous and very careful. Safety first with this crew. Great teachers for beginners... More

Almost the entire north coast ocean platform of the island harbors a massive coral reef (Untouched by 21st century development) that would blow your mind away! Divers won't get enough of the marvels that could be reached only a few feet off the shore!

Went to that hotel because of the close diving center. Was closed the 7 days I was there except one shallow dive because of windy conditions. Wouldn't recommend to go to Cayo Guillermo for diving.

Nice staff who are proficient divers. They are particularly good with new or training divers and make sure they are comfortable. Equipment could use some updating but are adequate. There are a lot of great dive sites and the beaches are fantastic.

We dove through them while staying in Cayo Guillermo. The instructors did a good job of teaching the basics of diving and safety in the Melia pool before we headed out to do our dive. The equipment worked well. The first dive site we went to was filled with sea life and vibrant coral. We saw an eel and a... More

My partner & I ignored Thomas Cook and went diving with the Dive Centre at our hotel. We checked out the equipment and was all fine, better than a lot of centres where we have dived before, including the Red Sea in Egypt. Our Dive master, Paul, was great too. I only did two dives but my partner dived 5... More
