my wife and I had a lovely drive to Long Point and noted how many birds were singing in the area. we also noted that the white swans were still enjoying the waters. as for finding much beach area, well that may be disappearing faster than expected.

Beautiful Long Point beach, but I came here to talk about the fish and chips. So, first, long point is beautiful. Just go, have a drive, walk the beach, do some fishing. What ever you like, it is a prestine, amazing spot to do it. Now, I really came her eto write a review for the Chip Ship food truck. Beautiful fish and chips set on the little canal with boats passing by. The staff are friends, the food is amazing and the setting is perfect. A must if you are in the area.

The ttrails were not all open and the zip line was not running, hard to discover/follow trails. The winery across the way was okay. The drive to the park was good too.

Long Point Beach - Lake Erie

Many cottages are available for rent in the Long Point beach area. Water levels are high this year, however there are still many things to do in the surrounding area. There is a provincial park available for camping; the town of Port Rowan with cute unique shops and Turkey Point a little further away which has many extra curricular activities to do. There is also a bird sanctuary in Long Point near the provincial park. And don't forget for those of you who are Terry Clark fans, she has a summer home in the area. Come and enjoy an ice cream, day on the beach and shopping.

Best Beach in Ontario
May 2019 • Couples
My husband and I love visiting Long Point Beach. We both agree it's one of the best beaches we have been to in Canada thus far. It's actual sand instead of hard rocks (on most Canadian beaches). It stretches far which makes it feel like an ocean, and on sunny days the water is quite blue with light waves. We enjoyed our AirBnB overlooking the water. We will be back soon!

A great opportunity to see more migrating birds , not just Canada Geese , we spotted a bald eagle, a flock of swans, had a stroll on the beach. It was a bit cool , so we bundled up and went for a few kilometres along the beach .
