Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch...

Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

The tour at Glenfiddich, as befits its market position, is one of the best of on offer at any of the distilleries. There is perhaps a bit more "attitude" about the family-owned business and its commitment to traditional methods of making whiskey that truly warranted, but they do dominate their market and produce a fine product. The small restaurant and... More

This 1.5 hour Explorer tour is well worth the money. What an amazing time we had. The grounds here are absolutely spectacular, the most beautiful distillery we stopped in at. This is also still a family owned and operated distillery despite it being such a wildly popular and famous brand of scotch. The history is remarkable and is alive in... More

We did the hour and a half tour. It was very informative & interesting, they let you take pictures during most of it, and I felt they took you through several parts of their distillery. I'm not a whiskey fan (my husband is a huge fan!), but this helped me appreciate it more. They also give you 4 tastings at... More

On our most recent visit to this distillery we just went to the restaurant and the shop. We have done the tour previously and found it informative and the staff friendly. The food in the restaurant in fabulous, their haggis is delicious and there is plenty of choice.

After not having visited for several years we came back so my mum could take a tour. I can tell the facilities have been improved including toilets, cafe, etc. While waiting we had good local food and locally brewed beers at the cafe (should I say bistro?). Great explanation during the tour.

Very informative tour given by a very knowledgeable guide. Our group was split into 2 for the tour with a party of 8 and then our group of 4. This was an excellent move as it gave more time for all aspects of our tour. Highly recommended tour of a bigger distillery

You must book in advance , we saw loads of people get turned away until later. The tour was really informative and you got to even go into one of the ware houses and see the really old barrels in storage. It was only £10 pounds each for adults with 4 tastings at the end and our 12 & 13... More

This was a highlight of our trip to Scotland. Gregor was our tour guide and he was so informative and was so natural in his delivery of information. We asked a lot of questions and he answered with a cheery smile and if he didn't know he did not fill the void with a chancer answer. Honestly highly recommend thank... More
