The wooden sculptures were interesing to see. The most surprizing was the fact that some very similar figures I couls see in Erice which is located 700 m above this church.

The church of San Francisco is absolutely beautiful inside. The outside looks like any other Sicilian church but the inside is beautiful beyond description. You must see this place.

If you are visiting the town then this is a must see. The inside is an amazing visual feast with ornate decoration and a marble alter exquisitely carved in the 16th century.

This has to he a must see. The place is crammed with painted carvings, with almost every square inch covered with something. Just sit and be amazed.
