Took my 4 young grandchildren to visit and they loved it. I'm ashamed to say that I have lived in Chard for 26 years and it was my first visit. I will be back as loved the whole experience

There are a lot of things to see here, and many of them are set up as "life sized" depictions of "life as it was lived" in days gone by. Very interesting, very informative and a good way to spend time whilst in Chard.

What a little gem! Looks incredibly small on the outside but i This is very deceptive. Many room inside with an array of displays. A shame I didn’t get a chance to see it all as I didn’t give myself enough time!

What an interesting museum with such helpful and friendly staff. It is a much larger concern than it would appear from it's streetside presence. It proved interesting to us as grandparents and our two granddaughters aged eight and 10 years. There was more than "something...More

Looks small and insignificant from outside but do not be deceived. It is like a tardis inside and full of interesting and unique exhibits. You will be surprised and not at all disappointed

Not far from this museum is Chard high street which has lots of different shops. It was a pleasant way to spend a morning with coffee shops. I was also able to have my eyebrows threaded for £5 on the high street. I went on...More
