We found the service at the Ski Centre extremely efficient and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the equipment was in excellent condition. Email correspondence prior to our arrival in Finland was really quick. For some reason, which was not made clear, we were grouped with a big tour group and so the number of people in our... More

Nice little resort for beginners and intermediates but as mainly blues and reds there probably isn't much for advanced skiers. But as my son is a complete beginner (and I'm not much better) we enjoyed an afternoon on the green runs

I've boarded in Levi and Yllas but I have to say the slopes in Saariselka are the best. Great scenic ski lift to the top. Then pop in to the restaurant at the top for a coffee and warm if needed and then a fantastic long board to the bottom.....then do it all again!! PERFECT!!

We had ski lessons at Ski Saariselka,me as a beginner,my wife as a intermediate and found the experience and the place excellent. All the staff were excellent especially Alexis and Fanni, who worked on our expertise. The equipment and storage were good as were the doughnuts in the cafe. One of the days were postponed due to the wind, but Alexis showed... More

Visited here recently while on a snowboarding trip. The ski bus takes you right to the door and is only 5euros. There are a number of slopes with some jumps for more experienced people. There is a ski shop where you can hire boards, skis and even book lessons. The restaurant offers a range of meals, tea, coffee and hot... More

We spent a week here in a self-catering cabin in this small resort which contains everything you need. There is a supermarket in the centre and plenty of places to eat out. The people are very friendly and most speak excellent English. The slopes are about 1km from the village which would normally have put us off, but it was... More

As o don't ski or snowboard we were unsure of what we could expect but it was brilliant fun. Cheap hire of equipment and good facilities. We had a genuinely outstanding day. We will be back for sure.

We didn't use the ski resort voor skiing or snowboarding, but we did make use of the Toboggan run. You can get a sledge for free at the bottom of the slope and then walk all the way to the top (or use the bus or the ski lifts). Some parts of the wat down you might want to walk,... More

We came to the ski fields to give the kids their first taste of skiing. We arranged ski hire and a 90 minute ski lesson for our two 6 year olds. The process was very easy and the children had a fabulous time with their instructor, Alex. He was amazingly patient despite the challenges 2 young children can present. We... More
