A lovely but very busy beach. I enjoyed the walkway along the coast which is flat and goes on forever. Lovely first thing on a morning before it gets crowded. Lovely views and plenty of water sport.

People back home told us, You must visit Fig Tree Bay, so we did, and left as soon as possible. It must have been attractive 50 years ago, but it's just wall to wall bars and hotels and kiosks. The beach itself would have been...More

A very nice little beach which was busy but worth a visit. Middle of the road restaurants nearby. Glad there were no nuisance sellers annoying holidaymakers. Sandy beach with rugged elements.

If people like this beach, they’ve clearly never been to a lovely beach! It’s overcrowded with sun beds. You can hardly see the sand! The extensive hotel development has probably destroyed what once may have been quite nice. Such a pity as the sea is...More

We arrived at 11am and it was heaving. Not in a nice way, people were walking round trying to find sunbeds but there were none left. The sea, although crystal clear, was packed with people standing in the warm water, possibly making it a little...More

We walked to Fig Tree Bay, its a nice beach, but very crowded , it isn't that big. For me it was just as nice as any of the other beached in Protaris.

Would have been a lovely beach before over development. Now there is a crowded sea of sunbeds on the beach and side by side hotels (very nice looking hotels)along the shore. Hotels back on to a busy ,but well planned , family friendly strip providing...More

Lovely sandy beach with safe shallow water. The bay is quite small so sunbeds go quite quickly but are a reasonable price at 2.50 per bed. Lots of water sports and parasailing for the brave.

Laranaca is the nearest airport About 60km and 1 hours drive, Car rental is easy and in Cyprus they drive on the left same as UK. It is a pretty straightforward drive along the A3.

There are several water sports piers along the beach where you can hire pedalos or do parasaling/jet ski or go on boat trips. I’m not sure if you meant hiring a boat without a pilot or going on a boat trip... but plenty of... More

Most car parking spaces are free but it was hard to find a place to park the car because we arrived around 10:30 am. We found a car park behind the place called “Flamingo beach bar”, you park there and pay 10€ and you get a... More
