Well maintained long cave with adequate lighting (artificial) for photography. Better to wear waterproof slippers while negotiating the cave as there is muddy water. If you have to do any further sight seeing, better to have a set of spare clothes as they may get...More

Walking through the narrow caves (rocky with sharp edges, dark, wet and slippery) is not for everyone. Cave systems are rare in India and Meghalaya has some of the best cave systems- take advantage if you are in Meghalaya.. When we visited, we took a...More

It's just hoards of tourists here.... perhaps because the cave is easily accessible, fairly well lit and reasonably maintained. Buy a ticket and be in line. There's the usual hustle and bustle.... As one goes in ,the wide entrance narrows and one has to crouch...More

The place I think is best suited for families. The caves are decently lit with carved and furnished paths to ensure safety, however the thrill of caving is therefore missing

Hello people, I would like to travel to this place by end of April ! My queries are as follows . Would it be appropriate season or time to visit ? . How much time does it take for a round trip from Shillong to this place ? . What would be the entry fee and timings? Thanks in Advance Ps- I have only 24hrs time at Shillong , that is from 3pm day 1 to 3pm day 2. So my idea is to cover living root, mawsmai caves and Nohkalikai falls! Is it possible ?
