We were lucky to see the waterfalls amidst clouds which scattered after a few minutes wait.... the falls has a sad story behind it... Provides excellent backdrop for clicking pics...

Make sure the day is clear. We were lucky to view the waterfalls. Our driver made us run to the spot. We took a snap, and within seconds the waterfalls disappeared.

It was a pleasant good day trip. The history of the place not at all good. But the location and scenic beauty is mind blowing.

Visited this place in mid December-17. To view this natural beauty, we waited more than an hour. However, due to heavy cloud and rain, not able to see anything. In Cherrapunjee, all locations are very unpredictable due to heavy cloud.
