So many falls in Cherrapunjee but each gives a different view. This one can be seen from distance but the water that gets collected has a beautiful colour. Do not miss.

One of the most marketed, pictured waterfall of Sohra. We visited the place in monsoon and have seen it in it's full glore with other sister waterfalls. There is a view point which is mostly covered by the clouds. The trick is to wait for a clear view typically within 15-20 mins ypu will be able to catch the glimpse... More

I traveled in the month of April & there were very less water. Local says there are seven falls but I was not able to count them. There are too many small streams, can't distinguish between them to make it to seven :P But the overall scenery is amazing, take a cup of tea from the nearby shops, sit at a... Cherrapunjee or Sohra is a town full of fall. There are more than 20 falls around Cherrapunjee and majority of them are located on main road and can be easily viewed from the main road itself.

If you want to watch this fall in its full might you must visit during rainy season. It's a beautiful fall of group of falls which you can't afford to miss if Meghalaya is to be enjoyed.

This waterfall is also called as seven sisters falls. Situated near the mawsmai cave, away from the crowd, this waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. I visited the falls in the month of April but due to less rain the falls were not upto the mark.I believe that the falls must be its worth during or after... More

The waterfall gives a soothing and amazing view of the lush greenery covering the hillocks with clouds surrounding them. However, the water may be insufficient during the dry seasons as they are seasonal waterfalls and hence it is better to visit during rainy season.
