Nice Church of Cherrapunjee, shows the connection of baptist missionaries activity in Khashi hills over hundreds of years.

Although it wasn't any different from the churches one may have in their cities, still I really loved the energy and the aura I found at this place. The peace seemed to come alive at this place. Don't have words and any logic, still I loved spending my time here while in Cherrapunji

Probably the first church the missionaries opened. Maintained very well. Calm and peaceful in the inside. Do look out for the houses on the street opposite to the church. They maintain some real old welsh styled houses which are more than 100 years old. Take a stroll on the street to take in the sights

This is very old church built in early days of missionary activity. This was built in 1846 and comes on the way when you are going towards cave.

This church is the only heritage spot among all the attractions in Cherrapunji. One can make a brief halt at the place while entering Cherrapunji. The colonial architecture is well preserved and it is a reminder of the British colonial legacy.

The church was established in 1846. The atmosphere is calm and serene. Worth a stopover while going to the caves.
