A lovely relaxing place to come & watch the world (&barges)go by. We stumbled across this place rather than planned a visit, & our only point would be that it is poorly signposted once in Bingley. We eventually found it by parking at the railway...More

We had picked up a leaflet for the locks and had it on our to do list. We had thought it would be in the same category as the Anderton Boat Lift. It's very different in that there is no facilities, no car park and...More

Went for a Sunday stroll in the winter sunshine past this local landmark. Very pretty surroundings, very close to Bingley centre, approx 5 mins walk. Fuve Rise Locks cafe right on the locks themselves. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed the beautiful walk by the canal starting from little quint village of Saltaire. The view of Bingley five ris lock was just amazing. The engineering look simple but well designed

A unique piece of engineering, the five rise locks is worth seeing in action. Relaxing stroll along the canal and a nice view and scenery. Worth a visit if in area.

Yes up Park Road for approx 400 yards. Climb the hill and turn left at the crossroads on Beck Lane , carry on to a mini roundabout and park somewhere there. The locks is down a short road for about 50 yards
