The Saga tour that we were part of was named "Where Oceans Meet" and this culminated with the actual place with a visit to Cape Agulas. It is also the most southerly point on the African continent and I felt privileged to be there!

I was so lucky to reach the southernmost point of Africa on a perfect day. They are busy constructing a boardwalk from the lighthouse to the point which is ideal for wheelchairs. Definitely a must do!

What a great experience to actually be standing at the very tip of the African continent where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. An absolute must if visiting in the area

We are seasonal residents in Struisbaai where we have a house. This resto/shop was always great, but since the revamp, its even better. The friendly service is always great. Whether for a toasted or some cake and tea and or breakfast, it NEVER disappoints. When it gets busy the owners husband Herman is on hand to assist. It also has... More

Nice drive to get there. You can park at the lighthouse and walk or drive the dust road to the parking closer to the point. Beautiful nature and absolutely a must see!

This is a beautiful coastal spot where the power of the oceans is very apparent. Though you could find many similar beauty spots along the South African coast and elsewhere in the world, there is definitely something very significant about the place where two oceans meet and you can look out to sea knowing the the next landfall is Antarctica.... This is well worth the visit to experience being at the southern most tip of Africa and to take photographs. The experience is amazing to be at the tip of Africa!! The walk from the Lighthouse is lovely with benches and information boards along the way but the municipality needs to replace some of the weathered signs. I think it... More

Cape Agulhas is very easy to get to and is a must if you are in the area. There are well maintained boardwalks which take you out to the tip plus there are a number of seats to sit own to enjoy the view on a nice day

What a fantastic place to unwind there are a few restaurants all which are good, a couple of decent bars and also shops stocking a good supply if you go self catering. Couple of tidal pools be very careful they are very slippery, Light house worth a vist, some good walks and of course take that photo of where the... More
