It is old, partly rebuild after the World War 2 Catholic Church. White color inside is impressive, nearly new center for youth is established just a few years ago.

This cathedral makes an impression of a huge defensive building and was declared to be Cathedral only in 1997 after the pope John Paul II visited it. Truly worth a visit!

Hello, Visited this beautiful church when I was dropping off Mamyte to go to Catholic Service. The church is an excellent example of beautiful architectural design. I would highly recommend that you visit this church on your way to the Siauliai Hill of Crosses.

The church is Lithuania’s most prominent example of renaissance-mannerist architecture. Some historical accounts consider this one of the oldest sundials in Lithuania, dating it to around 1625 or shortly after. Most likely, however, it was installed much later, after a mechanical clock in the tower was destroyed by fire in 1880.

The cathedral is surrounded by fence that has some fragments of the defense castle and on the side of this cathedral you can see a sundial. It is located in the Siauliai city center so... More
