If only they had English signage, this place would be perfect! There are impressive examples of ceramics, metalwork, jewelry, all sorts of remains. The coup de grace is a whole courtyard wall made up of prehistoric pictographs on stones brought in from throughout the region.

This unassuming museum is well worth a visit. it is very well maintained and it gives you an overview of the local pre-history and history.

A small but very well presented display, information is provided in English or French as well as Spanish. The museum contains a great collection of pre Inca Petroglyphs.

This small museum has a great collection of stone petroglyphs and other items from the pre Hispanic era. Very interesting and well worth the visit.
