The Penguin Parade is well worth seeing - get there early as advised to get a seat near the front. The Penguins return after sunset so take a coat as it gets quite cool in Autumn on the beach. No photos - ignored by the selfish who chase the selfie unfortunately!! The Rangers do a great job, but the number... More

Luckily went on a lovely autumn night. Wasn't too cold. Bought tickets online through racv website - cheaper tickets, but didn't read the fine print to call and reserve spot. Lovely staff member let us in as it was a quite night! (It was super busy to me!!). The board walk was lovely and great for prams, wheelchairs. But get... More

Worth the cost, travel and wait and not put off by a little rain. Little Blue Penguins worth going to see. Pleased it's photo and video free so that everyone gets a chance to see them come out of the sea and head up the beach. Staff/rangers great and give good descriptions as well as sort out those who want... More

Took 3 children aged 10, 6 and 2. As it's a natural event no one can tell exactly when the penguins will arrive so you spend a lot of time waiting. Take more clothes and blankets than you think you will need, I took a blanket each and the kids were still shivering (it had been 28 degrees during the... More

We opted to buy tickets for the ultimate adventure and are so glad we did .We were provided with all the gear we needed, including a night scope. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and we will never forget sitting on our private beach watching the nearly 300 penguins that came in on our beach.

We went with the best intentions of seeing penguins, boy we were not disappointed! That part was great... Unfortunately the resort was far to overcrowded, the building was riddled with mice (i can understand this, it is a rural location) however I felt sorry for the staff as they were spread so thin, could not cope with the amount of... Dear James W Thank you for your review and feedback of your recent visit to the Penguin Parade. I'm pleased that the penguins did not disappoint and at least that part of your experience was positive. We have certainly have had a very busy period, especially over the school holidays, and many of our visitors do come in via coach... More

PLENTY of free parking available and please note to check under your car after dark before leaving for Penguins. If you are doing the underground viewing I would advise to get there early to secure your spot at the window. The rangers are very friendly and very helpful and the Penguins are just adorable. Great educational experience to be had... More

We arrived in time to get seats mid-way up the general viewing area and witnessed a spectacular sunset over the beach as we waited in suspense for the little penguins to arrive, which they did as predicted near dark. The last time I visited the penguin parade was probably 35 years ago and a lot has changed since then, but... More

Like many top attractions, this is very popular so you need a bit of an edge. Penguins Plus provided an excellent spot for seeing the penguins. Don't expect to arrive at the last moment and get front row seats. We were with our grandchildren and they did get bored waiting. However the wait was well and truly worth it

We took our 2 grand daughters here for great experience. We paid bit extra and did the Penguins plus which I am glad we did, worth money. Seats max 300 people with guaranteed views of penguins. Rangers did fantastic job of keeping people right down the front seated so all could see. hats off to them. Penguins arrived on time... More
