Me and my mom were traveling from hamilton ontario back to alberta with my two young children. This was an awesome boat with excellent options for eating and purchasing items on the ship. The staff were amazing and so helpful and knowledgeable. The ship has a children's area that gave the children the freedom to run and be kids. The... More

This is a very relaxing way to get to Manitoulin Island. The 2 hour ferry ride is well worth the price of admission! Make sure to get a Muskoka chair on deck. and pack a sweater.

We took the 8pm ferry from Tobermory and watched the sun set over Lake Huron. Great experience. Nice big boat, smooth ride. The gift shop was nice. The cafeteria will not be getting any Michelin stars. Be warned, if traveling by motorcycle you must tie down your own bike. They give you well used ropes, not ratchet straps so practice... More

It's always fun to take the ferry. It looked pretty full even on a Monday, so reservations are probably a good idea. The ship itself was nice with lounge deck and restaurant. The route goes right through the Fathom Five National Park, so the views are amazing.

This is a very nice, clean ferry. They do a great job of informing passengers about activities on Manitoulin and the history and culture of the island. The food was not very good, and pretty expensive, but it is nice that you have the option to eat.

The ferry was an experience, there was a minor setback when they closed their kitchen at 10:30 and you had a ferry full of hungry hikers. But overall it was amazing and worth the cost because it was pricey too.

This is a drive-on drive-off ferry that offers a good cafeteria service as well a small gift shops for passengers travelling on board. The journey is only a couple of hours in length but you pass by some interesting scenery and a couple of lighthouses. Check for sailing times and be there one hour prior to get your reservation.
