The Diqing museum at Lion Hll is free and if you are in the area, it is worth the 30 minutes or so it takes to look at the displays. It provides a bit of info on the history and geography of the region. Displays...More

Ran in here to escape the noon heat. And as expected, it was not great. Poorly related narrative, with no English commentaries. Artefacts are interesting, though.

Limited amount of displays with archeological hall, some colourful costumes of ethnic minorities, and then a Tibetan medicine area which seems like a shopfront.
