As I said this museum is nothing special, plus I feel like the story there are been told in a different way from reality.

This place is new and has little to offer. I did sit with a Tibetan girl and drink tea for much of the tour after seeing the quality of the presentation and materials in the museum. The building has beautiful wood carvings on the face of it. I don't know why in an area with 2500 years of history and... More

Ran in here to escape the noon heat. And as expected, it was not great. Poorly related narrative, with no English commentaries. Artefacts are interesting, though.

I guess if you have nothing to do, you can take a peak in here. It is free, has some information about the area. Becareful about the top floor. It is a front for a Chinese medicine shop, where you may be informed *tricked* into spending 1000s on medicine.

Limited amount of displays with archeological hall, some colourful costumes of ethnic minorities, and then a Tibetan medicine area which seems like a shopfront.
