As long as there is space in the parking area, this is certainly worth a stop. The views are excellent and you can appreciate just how winding the road you have driven is!

Fabulous 360 degree views at ear popping altitude including fresh snow in August! Fairly but not unbearably busy, plenty of parking

Be of the town and basilica or the surrounding countryside the views are stunning. The mountains, valleys and sea are visible from the lookout.

We were there in the morning of a perfectly sunny day, liked it a lot but thought, seen something similar many times elsewhere. Maybe we're too blasé or just plain spoiled?

It's 770 meters high, so a long trek (by car) to get there, with winding roads, but worth the drive.

At the top is a viewing platform from which you can see the Pico mountains and on the other side the sea.

Great views

Beautiful views from the top, worth a visit. Plenty of Griffin Vultures flying overhead.
We loved the drive up, fantastic windy road.
Good little coffee stop too with a small shop selling souvenirs.

Between 7.30 am and 7 pm it is allowed to go to Lagos de Covadonga only by taxi or public bus. The bus does not stop at Miradur de la Reina. So during the day you can only get there by taxi or by bike. However, the views from the bus are also stunning.

This is enroute to the Covadonga Lakes and the road up is steep, narrow and has few passing places, therefore closed off during busy periods with a Bus Service (Coach) running every half hour or so. We rushed up after last bus down and road re opened so to catch sunset. Got there early so went to the lakes for sunset but here is still breathtaking.

Worth stopping to take in the fantastic views. We did and could not help but be amazed at the scenery.
