We booked for a catamaran trip with Molly Mack and had a great time. The dock
is less than an hour from Lucca and easy to find. Martin was a friendly and helpful host / captain. Mateo his helper was also nice and filled us in on information about the sights and area as we sailed up the beautiful coast. We stopped a couple of times to swim (once through a cave in the cliff which was quite fun.) The area is quite pretty. There were pletty of cold waters, soft drinks on board to keep us refreshed. Thanks again for the memorable day.

Spent the afternoon with my family aboard the MollyMack with Martin and his first mate Matteo. We all had a fantastic time, enjoy the sun, swimming in some beautiful coves and the wonderful scenery. Martin was a great host...and as I don't speak Italian, him being English was a huge help.
We travelled from Barga, only 1.5hrs for the trip and it was absolutely worth the journey.
We're back in Italy again in June-18 and will be going again.

Wonderful day on board of the catamaran Molly Mack with skipper Martin and assistant Matteo!
Starting from Ameglia (which is very good accessible by car; free parking), we soon arrived at Lerici (Bay of Poets). After a quick swim in het sea, we stopped at Portovenere for the lunch. Portovenere is a very beautiful port with plenty of colorful houses and a nice church as a beacon on the rocks.
In the afternoon, we set sail for 3 of the 5 Cinque Terre- villages.
Returning to Ameglia, our kids steered the catamaran safely through the blue sea.
Free drinks included.
Along the way, Matteo told us some interesting knowings about the visited places.

Our group of 4 friends had a wonderful, relaxing day with Martin last week! He was extremely easy to work with both before our trip (for the planning) and on the day of. He let us plan what we wanted to see and threw in a few suggestions for places to snorkel (he anchored us near a small cave that we could swim into--so interesting). He had snorkels, masks, and floating noodles for us to use, so that was a bonus. We brought some wine/beers, but Martin also had drinks for us. There was a nice sized cooler with lots of ice blocks to keep our drinks cold all day.

We rented the Molly Mack for a full day, and it was a great value! We looked into other boat day trips prior to booking, and we would have paid more for those excursions and we would have been crammed on a boat with up to 8 other people. Trust me, go with Martin, and he'll make sure you have a wonderful day with plenty of room to relax and have a glass of wine!

A group of friends (6 of us) took a trip with Martin and had a great time. He brought food and drink for us, and we sailed along the coast into Portovenere. From there we stopped at a cliff-side cove to swim and then past Cinque Terre. A really fantastic trip, would suggest for any group looking too tour the coast or some Italian sea-side towns.

We booked a day trip as a family of four (with grown up children) on the catamaran with Martin and his new apprentice assistant.

Martin was incredibly flexible and helpful sorting out our trip when he had to change the berth for the Molly Mack so we were able to board at La Spezia and it was easy to find the boat when it came into port (a very distinctive blue and white hulled catamaran).

The trip itself was completely flexible - we chose to stop off for lunch and walk around Porto Venere before sailing on to see the Cinque Terre and stopping for snorkelling (Martin has the masks and snorkels).

The views from the boat were incredible and having such a hospitable and friendly host as Martin with the luxury of a boat all to ourselves was great. With a well stocked (and well chilled) store of drinks and the wind in the sails this must be the best way to see Cinque Terre.

Our family took a half day trip with Martin and his Mate. We had a wonderful ride under sail to a secluded cove where we were able to snorkel and just relax in the Mediterranean. What a wonderful, restful activity. I highly recommend it when in the Cinque Terre area.

Martin and his crew provided us with an amazing boat ride along the Cinque Terre coast. It was a much needed break from sight seeing, crowds and the heat! We booked an all day trip along the coast, lunched in Port Venere and swam, sunbathed for a few hours too. It was one of our favorite days in Italy. I highly recommend booking Molly Mack for a small group or larger group.

Martin was such an excellent captain! We had 9 people on our boat, and he patiently waited for a few that got lost. He lets you decide (reasonably) the itinerary of the trip, but he also has great suggestions. He took us to see Riomaggiore from the coast as well as took some adventurous girls on our boat into a cave. He was well prepared with life jackets and snorkels and had a stocked fridge at no charge. I'd definitely bring some money to tip him, but it is well worth it!
